Description

Rotary Botanical Gardens (RBG) is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) award-winning botanical showcase, with 20-acres located in the heart of Janesville, Wisconsin. This treasured gem has grown into a retreat which offers peace and serenity, but also serves as a prime destination for educational programs, weddings, corporate meetings and community gatherings.

Exposure to botanical diversity can create experiences that change people’s lives and establish an emotional link with the natural world. The opportunity RBG is presented with is to build on that emotional or aesthetic response to generate a deeper appreciation for horticulture.

Botanic gardens exist to serve the fundamental needs of humanity, namely the conservation and sustainable use of plant resources. The awe-inspiring landscapes and gardens of RBG are an attractive, vibrant and welcoming host to an estimated 100,000 visitors each year as Rock County’s number one tourist destination.
Through educational programs, RBG encourages children to stay healthy and active by providing a living classroom full of hands-on learning opportunities. Over 300 volunteers find a sense of belonging and purpose at RBG, as they are a vital element to RBG’s ongoing and future success. The Gardens’ continue to capture the imaginations and hearts of thousands of visitors over the past 23 years – inspiring gardeners, artists, photographers and all who visit.
