Description
Ronald McDonald House of Dallas, Inc. provides a temporary home-away-from-home for seriously ill children and their families while the children are receiving treatment in a Dallas-area hospital. Available to families twenty-four hours a day and seven days a week, RMHD provides lodging, transportation to and from area hospitals, three meals a day and a warm and supportive environment in which families interact and learn from others’ situations. RMHD aims to relieve certain stresses parents feel during what can be their darkest hour so they can focus their time and energy on what matters most – the health of their sick child.
