Description

The New Mexico Ronald McDonald House opened in 1982 to provide a home-away-from-home to families from rural New Mexico who must bring their ill children to Albuquerque for life saving medical treatment. These families have no choice but to spend considerable time away from home while their children receive the medical care they so desperately need. The House provides for the families’ basic needs while keeping the healing touch of parents within reach of their hospitalized children.
