Description
Rockingham Community Action (RCA) is a multi-service agency established in 1965 to improve the quality of life of the county's low income residents. RCA is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors committed to the concept that given the appropriate assistance, the cycle of poverty can be broken. RCA believes that through partnerships with local communities, human service providers, federal and state governments, businesses, clergy, and private individuals, services can be developed that not only meet individual needs, but begin the process of developing self-sufficiency. This is the mission of the agency, and RCA's Outreach Program is an integral part of this effort.
