Description
Rock for a Remedy, Inc. is a 501(c)3 is a nonprofit organization that brings together local food relief organizations and national touring artists to both gather food donations and encourage youth and adults to better their communities through charitable efforts.
Since mid 2003, Rock for a Remedy, Inc. (RFAR) has coordinated food drives with artists including Guster, Blues Traveler, Maroon 5, Train, Bela Fleck, Grace Potter and the Nocturnals, Dispatch, Gavin Degraw, Tristan Prettyman, O.A.R., Michael Tolcher, Matt Nathanson, Damien Rice, and Jason Mraz. Thus far we have executed 67 food drives and collected over 60,000 pounds of food with the help of these amazing artists and their fans. Each Food Drive directly benefits the community in which the concert is held.
