Description

Bringing the healing power of music to children battling cancer. Rock Against Cancer treats children/teens with cancer to "Stars Night Out" where they become Rock Stars meet and greeting some of today's top artists at concerts. Hospitalized children receive gift bags full of the hottest music CD's, concert DVD's, light sticks, temporary tatoo's through the "Gifts from the Heart" program. In 2006-7, ten Hot Topic Foundation "School of Rock" music centers are being established at pediatric oncology treatment centers, these include full digital recording studios and Board Certified Music Therapists to 'help make music part of the cure' for these brave kids.
