Description
RLTP is a life skills and workforce preparation development program that serves at-risk youth and adults, using the green industry as a catalyst to build life and employment skills. Our program is designed to foster the implementation of life-long learning habits that will be applied to school, work and community environments. Services include:
•Academic tutoring, mentoring, and GED services
•Life skills development
•Community service and social entrepreneurship
•Job readiness/Employment skills development
•Internships and paid work experience
RLTP makes long-term commitments to inner-city neighborhoods, and encourages collaboration among agencies Participants develop planning and problem solving skills through working with community leaders and neighborhood coalitions on neighborhood and community beautification projects.. Our ultimate goal is that through the process participants are instilled with a sense of hope, opportunity, and sense of belonging.
