Description

Road to Responsibility’s mission statement sums up very powerfully and succinctly the very core of our philosophy, “Citizens With Disabilities Belong...Supporting them is our privilege.” Our experience in providing services to individuals with disabilities began in 1988 when Road to Responsibility, a non-profit organization was founded to provide recreation and family support services to individuals with disabilities. We have grown to serve nearly 1,100 citizens with disabilities, providing more than 36 homes including one emergency respite service, 5 employment centers, and 5 special rehabilitation programs. Full scale recreations services continue to offer bowling, dances, Cruises, trips to Disney World, and even a week long learning experience on Howling Winds Farm, RTR’s forty acre working farm in NH.
