Description
The RJ Hairston Sr. Community Development Corporation (CDC) is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) community based organization that provides charitable, educational and social services to families residing in the Brentnell community of Columbus, Ohio. Since its 1997 inception, the organization has implemented numerous programs and ultimately served as an effective resource for children and families needing supportive services assistance.
The RJ Hairston Sr. Community Outreach Pantry is a program that provides food and hygiene items to children, youth and families needing emergency assistance. The purpose of the program is to be a resource for families whose unpreventable and unforeseeable, dire economic situation has prevented them from having the means to purchase food and hygiene items that are essential for everyday living.
Our driving aspiration is simply “Fighting Hunger. Serving Love. Helping Families.”
