Riverbend Head Start & Family Services is a non-profit organization that provides child development and counseling services to at-risk children and families in Madison County. Through its Head Start, Transitions Counseling, and Family Foundations programs the agency enables children and families to discover positive solutions to life’s challenges. Created in 1965, Head Start is the most successful, longest-running, national school readiness program in the United States. It provides comprehensive education, health, nutrition, and parent involvement services to qualifying children and their families.
