Description

River Edge FOCUS is a non-profit organization formed by parents of children with special needs in the River Edge school districts. FOCUS has established instructional sports leagues for soccer and baseball for children with special needs and organized training for middle school and high school students to volunteer as one on one mentors with the children. FOCUS also organizes an annual picnic for children with special needs that includes pony rides, moon walks, musical story hour, games and prizes, and raises funds to provide equipment and training for the local school district to improve educational opportunities for children with special needs.
