Description

Therapeutic Horsemanship of El Paso (THEP) is a non-profit 501c3 North American Riding for the Handicapped Association (NARHA) Therapeutic Riding Center in Canutillo, Texas serving the El Paso area, including Las Cruces and Ciudad Juarez. THEP has been devoted to serving children and adults with disabilities since 1988 through the powerful modality of equine-assited therapy.

We provide therapeutic riding sessions, privately, in small groups and camps designed to meet the needs of each individual. Equine-assisted therapeutic experiences are far more than mere pony rides. Rather, they are a complex and exciting means of therapy that produce tangible physical, psychological, cognitive, social, and educational benefits.
