Founded in 2005, Revive the Vote believes in the capacity building of marginalized neighborhoods to create a sustainable movement. Guided by our mission we are committed to empowering urban communities to realize their collective strength through increased civic engagement.
Our specific purposes are to:
Promote interest in and advance the benefits of civic engagement through trainings, public forums, and educational material.
Improve the understanding of and access to local, state, and federal government policies.
Inform citizens about the benefits and responsibilities of exercising their rights in a democratic society.
Create and support the maintenance of ecumenical networks for community development.
