Description
The Resurrection Project, located in the heart of Chicago’s vibrant Mexican-American community, focuses on building and preserving affordable housing, stimulating economic revitalization, providing free financial education services, and building local leadership through education and civic engagement. Founded in 1990 by a coalition of local churches, The Resurrection Project is a faith-based organization which has developed specialized bilingual, culturally-appropriate programs to meet the needs of its predominantly Latino, low- and moderate-income constituency. Through these services, TRP actively engages in its mission to build relationships and challenge people to act on their faith and values to create healthy communities through organizing, education, and community development.
