Description
We are trying to make a difference in the lives of innocent children who have been a victim of abuse or neglect and placed in to our Foster Care System and shelters. The children’s ages range from new-born to 18 years.
The main goal of the R.O.C.K. Foundation, is to help these children adjust to their new living situation and let them know that there are people out there who care about them. We also try to increase the awareness of the need for community involvement. We try to partner with local businesses, churches and civic organizations to help form a “storage bank” of items that are not part of the local budget, such as juice boxes, clothes, snack foods, diapers, toys, and other necessities. We would like to promote volunteers to be active in these children’s lives, by spending time reading books, playing games, or just spending some time with them.
