Description

The Reno AIDS Walk is dedicated to raising funds for the Northern Nevada AIDS Agencies who support those infected and affected by AIDS.

In 2005, Nevada was home to 54 children who contracted HIV/AIDS from a mother who had or was at risk for HIV.

While Nevada ranks 26th in the nation for population size, we rank 14th for number of people infected by AIDS.
