Description
Renaissance E.M.S. is a nonprofit organization located in the Bronx, New York, which focuses on maximizing the potential of at-risk inner city youth through music instruction and production. The goal of the program is to expose youths to performance music and education to reinforce the self-empowerment, family, and community while giving kids an educational outlet for time that otherwise would be spent on the streets. Renaissance has expanded its horizons additionally into sporting events (specifically basketball) and SSAT, ACT and general high school course tutoring to reach a larger breadth of kids with overlapping interests.
