Description

Refuge House is a domestic violence center and rape crisis program that serves Leon County and the 7 surrounding counties. Refuge House’s service area is the largest in the State of Florida. We have two emergency shelters and outreach offices in each county we serve. Last year Refuge House offered safe shelter to 557 women and children, answered 3,040 hotline calls for help, assisted 1,029 victims in our Courthouse program, and provided 2,280 domestic violence and 291 rape victims with individual and group counseling.
