Description
Reflect & Strengthen (R&S) is a grassroots organization run by and for young women, ages 14-30, of different ethnicities and races from working class, urban neighborhoods of Boston. We take a holistic approach to changing our relationship to the institutions of power by challenging structures of racism, classism, sexism, capitalism, homophobia and xenophobia that impact our communities. We do this by nurturing sisterhood and solidarity, developing and implementing critical thinking skills and anti-oppressive power analyses and values in our community organizing, while celebrating our cultures and creativity.
