Description
The Women's Center is an emergency shelter for women their children who are escaping from domestic violence.
The Women's Center also provides several support groups and outreach services for victims of domestic violence. Services include: Legal advocacy, community education, children programs, outreach, follow-up services, women's support groups and a 24-hour crisis line.
Advocates work with each woman to explore options and refer her to community resources that support her choices. The 8-apartment shelter can serve up to 24 individuals at one time.
