Description
The Red River Revel Arts Festival is an eight-day celebration of the Arts that began in 1976 as a bicentennial gift from the Junior League of Shreveport/Bossier to the citizens of the region. The Revel is one of the most successful, longest running arts festivals in the country. The festival features over 100 visual artists, four performance stages, 24 food booths run by non-profit organizations, a children’s arts education area, a fourth grade arts education program, and a K-2nd grade morning arts education program. Additional features include art related exhibits, demonstrations and workshops; various street performers; and a Gourmet Market.
