Recovery Resource Council, formerly known as Tarrant Council on Alcoholism & Drug Abuse, is a private nonprofit 501 (c)(3) organization in Tarrant County, TX, with a 51-year history of providing an essential link between the public and substance abuse services. Recovery Resource Council serves 150,000 individuals annualy in Tarrant County and 11 surrounding counties. The Council offers four different prevention education programs in over 169 schools in the area, as well as ancillary sites such as community recreations centers, after school centers and other locations. In addition, Recovery Resource Council provides outreach, screening, assessment, and referrall services in a 12-county area. We have five different intensive case management programs that serve special populations such as women with children, homeless men and women, or the HIV positive. We also offer drug-free workplace and adult education classes.
