Description
The Recovery Alliance is an organization of people in recovery from alcoholism and drug addiction along with family members and community allies. We serve people in recovery by advocacy, ensuring that everyone who seeks recovery finds it; by peer services, providing direct services to people seeking recovery; and by housing, providing a stable secure, structured sober living environment for people in early and md-range recovery as well as permanent supportive housing. The Alliance’s mission: The Alliance is a group of people in recovery, friends, family and allies who are caring, compassionate persons, committed to serve, be recovery friendly and act as responsible brokers and advocates. We come together because of lack of services and invisibility of people in recovery. We address community needs through mentoring, education, referral and advocacy while creating an environment for positive experience, socialization and recreation through community centers and sober housing.
