about

Recording for the Blind & Dyslexic (RFB&D), a nonprofit, volunteer-based organization founded in 1948, is the nation's educational library of textbooks in recorded formats. We serve students who cannot effectively read standard print because of visual impairment, learning disability (such as dyslexia) or other physical disability (such as cerebral palsy). Our unit serves individuals throughout the State of Illinois.
