Reading is a public commodity.
No one should have to pay extra to learn to read or share a great book with
their children or help a child learning to read.
We are a public charity dedicated to family and children's literacy. We
help at-risk readers who have no reading material at home ... or teachers
in title I schools who have no books for their classroom library.
We also help parents walk past the over-hyped, media-driven material to
find that "just right" book to turn their I-hate-reading kid into a
bookworm.
The Reading Tub, Inc is 100% volunteer so that your money goes to getting
books and literacy tools to families and literacy first responders:
teachers, librarians, social workers, to name a few.
