Description
The READ Center is a not-for-profit volunteer adult literacy program nationally recognized for the innovative adult education programs it provides to residents in the City of Richmond and surrounding counties. The mission of The READ Center is to help low-level reading adults develop basic reading and communication skills through one-to-one tutoring so they can fulfill their goals and their roles as citizens, workers, and family members. Trained volunteer tutors work with adult learners to meet their individual literacy goals.
