Description
Reaching Out 2 Students (RO2S) was formed to offer socio-economically compromised youths and young adults (5-25 years of age) community-based educational and vocational growth opportunities. Since our inception, we have been successful in providing reduced and free tutoring, community outreach trips, and acting as fundraising advisors for a local dance community program. In the future our hopes are to introduce a grant and scholarship program, after-school activities program, and educational and vocational guidance services. As an organization, we seek to alleviate the stigma associated with underrepresented and disadvantaged populations through their successful exposure to our programs. Our hope is, through positive experiences we can create well-rounded individuals instilled with a sense of value and pride that inspire them to seek professional pursuits.
