Founded in 1980, the Raptor Education Foundation utilizes non-releasable raptors as a means to promote environmental literacy and related research. Its collection of everything from tiny owls to massive eagles are part of a variety of educational programs which deal with ecology, biology, zoology, other natural sciences and the over 4,000 year cultural relationships humans have maintained with raptors.
