Description
Rape Trauma Services of San Mateo County (RTS) strives to eliminate all forms of violence, with a special focus on sexual assault and abuse. Informed by our understanding of traumatic experiences and cycles of violence, we facilitate healing and the prevention of violence through the provision of counseling, advocacy, and education. We promote and adopt policies, practices, and social values rooted in fairness, equity, and inclusiveness.
The goal of RTS is to stop cycles of violence for the well-being and health of individuals and of the community. RTS is committed to making our services accessible to all residents by minimizing economic and cultural barriers to participation. No one is turned away for inability to pay. RTS provides Sexual Assault Services and Rape & Sexual Abuse Prevention to the residents of San Mateo County.
