Description
Rape Crisis is a 24/7 program that provides direct services to victims of sexual assault and their families. We provide crisis interventions, hospital accompaniment for forensic exam, court advocacy, counseling and support group. This program depends on volunteers to help staff this program on a 24 hour basis ensuring that help is only a call away. Funding is needed for maintaing our 24 hour hotline, clothing for victims, transportation from the hospital, and public awareness educating the communities in southwest Alabama on violence prevention.
