Description
Range Women's Advocates is the only agency in northern St. Louis County, an area covering 5.400 square miles and the size of the State of Massachusetts, that provides direct advocacy services to battered women and their children who witness violence. Services include safe homes, transportation, individual and court advocacy, support groups, information and referral, accompaniment to appointments and court hearings, and a toll-free 24/7 crisis line. The organization also provides community and professional education, a children's program, volunteer program, and works with the criminal justic system by providing educational classes for abusers.
