Description
Rainbow Camp of Massachusetts Inc. was founded in 1948 by Mrs. Lulu H. Gobrecht, the founder of Rainbow Assemblies in Massachusetts. Rainbow Camp is a place where all Rainbow Girls may meet and prove the Friendship and Universality of Rainbow. Campers are welcome from all Jurisdictions.
The International Order of the Rainbow for Girls, originally founded in Oklahoma in 1922 by Rev. W. Mark Sexson, is a youth organization for girls between the ages of 11 and 20. The I.O.R.G. is a character building organization that promotes self-esteem, leadership, and community service. Rainbow Girls are given the opportunity to participate in a wide variety of activities, from volunteering to fundraisers to fun events.
