Description
The Racine Vocational Ministry is an interdenominational, faith-based, nonprofit organization created to assist the chronically unemployed to develop life, job search, and employment skills so that they may more effectively participate in the local economy and thereby achieve a quality lifestyle for themselves and their families.
The Racine Vocational Ministry is the only Racine County agency that targets its job counseling, intensive case management and life skills training services to ex-offenders, the homeless, recovered substance abusers and those residents who are chronically unemployed. Other at-risk target populations served by the agency include domestic violence victims, veterans, and others who have failed to find employment using traditional mainstream public systems.
