Description
Quincy Community Action Programs, Inc. (QCAP) is the leading non-profit organization in Quincy dedicated to helping low and moderate-income people improve the quality of their lives and achieve self-sufficiency. Established in 1965 as one of Massachusetts’ 24 Community Action Agencies, QCAP serves approximately 20,000 people annually in Quincy, Weymouth, Braintree, Milton, Hull and surrounding Norfolk County and South Shore Communities. QCAP seeks new resources and creative ways to deliver services that meet changing community needs. We focus on advocating for the preservation and development of affordable housing, homeownership opportunities, quality early education and care, family support services, adult educational opportunities, income development services, and jobs that pay a living wage. Whatever the need, QCAP serves people in a caring and professional manner that preserves dignity and encourages individuals to reach their greatest potential.
