About Quilt Study Museum
Quilt Study Museum, Hudson, Michigan, 49247 , non profit, teaches the history of sewing with hands on One on One to anyone from Grade School on to Seniors. Displays of Vintage pieces from collections sometimes donated from Area Museums and Velia Gutierrez Lauerman's quilts. Fabrics and Supplies are available to use with classes of All Needlework. Curator Velia is invited to many grips to further Study of Silk in Quilts, KitchenQuilts "Americana"(books,papers,objects, facts, etc. having to do with America, it's people, and it's history) that are small items like appliance Covers, place mats, hot pan holders, adult & baby bibs, chefHats, having 1-fabricTOP, 2- BATTING, 3- BACKING, 4- QUILTED and 5- BINDING.
