(Quadriplegics United Against Dependency) has developed and operates wheelchair-accessible housing facilities in metro Portland for people with severe physical disabilities, and provides unique 24/7 attendant care, enabling residents to realize increased self-sufficiency and self-reliance. Different than a nursing center, QUAD Inc. plays to the strengths of the individual, encouraging self-directed, independent living.
