Queensboro Council for Social Welfare (QCSW), is the only generic social policy and planning agency in the County of Queens, NY with more than fifty member agencies as well as human service workers. QCSW works to improve the human service delivery system in the borough for children, adults, teens and senior citizens. The QCSW Information and Referral Service offers help on an individual basis to over 1500 clients yearly. We recognize excellence among social service professionals with an annual awards presentation. QCSW programs include a monthly informational newsletter 'Neighbor News' reporting on news and services available to residents, a Senior Employment Program targeting low income seniors, Educational Workshops and Seminars for both social service professionals and the community at large.
