Putnam Chorale

The Putnam Chorale is a community chorus whose mission is to bring good music excellently performed to our local community in the Hudson River Valley. The Putnam Chorale consists of 70 amateur singers, led by a professional director and accompanist. The Chorale performs with professional soloists and orchestra comprised of local musicians where possible. The Putnam Chorale concert series includes major performances of standard choral repertoire, a pops and jazz program, a family oriented holiday concert and an annual Handel's Messiah Sing. The Chorale performs regularly at area nursing homes and community centers, bringing music to people who could not attend our concerts. The Putnam Chorale is a 501c3 non-profit organization and a registered NYS Charity. We rely heavily on grants, donations and gifts for support. Please visit our website at www.putnamchorale.org.
