Description of Organization: The Pulaski County Sheltered Workshop, Inc. was formed in October 1976 as a non-profit corporation organized under the laws of Missouri and is exempt from federal and state income taxes under the provisions of Section 501c(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Missouri Dept. of Elementary and Secondary Education provide our Certificate of Authority to operate.
Purpose: The primary purpose of the Pulaski County Sheltered Workshop, Inc. is to provide an extended employment workshop program to provide productive employment opportunity to lower range educable and upper range trainable mentally challenged persons and other handicapped individuals over the age of eighteen years.
