Description

Puget Sound Residential Services, a non-profit corporation, was established in 1983 to provide intensive tenant support services to four deaf-blind developmentally disabled adults in Renton, Washington. Since its inception PSRS has grown to support 32 participants who live in Seattle, Renton and Kent. The objective of PSRS is to empower participants to experience a high quality of life by increasing their daily living skills and by fostering active participation and inclusion in the community. PSRS is dedicated to supporting participants to exercise personal power, informed choice making, & self determination. PSRS strives to support participants to experience optimal health & mental health; engage in fulfilling relationships; strengthen ability to communicate effectively; experience safe environments; achieve positive status within their communities; maintain financial stability, and pursue & engage in meaningful employment.
