Award winning educational non-profit organization that is built around the premise that educated, respectful dialogue between the extremely different cultures of our cities and natural resource providing rural areas is the only way to find responsible, long-term environmental solutions. The program founder, Bruce Vincent, feels that the first step in this dialogue is meeting and sharing each other’s reality.
Provider Pals’ mission, building a bridge of understanding and respect between cultures of urban youth, rural youth, and their natural resource providers, is met by offering a four part program. The program includes classroom ‘adoptions’ of natural resource providers, a rural student trip to the city, a rural camp experience, and the online educational gaming site ‘Provider World’.
