Description
La Posada Providencia, a sponsored ministry of the Sisters of Divine Providence provides temporary shelter to indigent immigrants and asylum seekers which have been oppressed in political conflicts, burdened by abject poverty, displaced after a natural disaster, or persecuted by life-threatening actions in their native lands. These individuals seek asylum or other legal recourse in the United States.
The shelter is located in San Benito, Texas in the lower Rio Grande Valley.
