Description
Project VIDA was founded in 1992 to address the urgent needs of racial and ethnic minorities. Initially, the agency provided HIV education through street outreach services to area youth. Now Project VIDA has expanded its community scope by initiating a variety of programs: direct service for people infected or affected by HIV/AIDS and various prevention education programs. Our mission is to improve the quality of life by reducing and preventing health disparities of men, women, and youth in racial/ethnic minority communities through therapy, counseling, and health education.
