Description

Project Peanut Butter was launched as a new approach to the treatment of malnutrition among Malawian children. The project has since been proven as an effective method with average recovery rates of 89.9%. The treatment is a locally manufactured peanut-based Ready-to-Use Therapeutic Food (RUTF). The treatment is home-based(children can eat the food therapy at home) along with biweekly visits to a local health center to track the children's health status.
