Project HOPE Foundation

about

Project HOPE Foundation is a growing nonprofit 501c(3) organization founded in 1997 to respond to the needs of children with autistic spectrum and related disorders, and its inclusion-based, nonprofit school, Hope Academy. Hope Academy services children from preschool through 8th grade, and our “inclusion” means that 1 child with autism or a related disorder is included in each preschool classroom, and up to 2 children with autism or related disorders are included in each Academy classroom. Area professionals view Hope Academy, the only inclusion-based school in the Upstate of South Carolina, as an innovative educational program for special needs children. Its small classes, low student-to-teacher ratios and hands-on curriculum provide an atmosphere in which all students flourish.
