Description
As the only emergency homeless shelter serving Lake County, Ohio, Project Hope for the Homeless is more than just a place to sleep. Project Hope provides guests with hot dinners, showers and weekly meetings with staff members to set and meet goals that will lead them to a higher quality of living; about 50% of all guests are able to achieve that in about 3 months. Volunteers and community donations are vital in helping Project Hope provide guests with a warm, safe environment that helps Project Hope meet its mission: responding to the human hurts and hopes of persons in Lake County who are homeless by providing emergency shelter, care and guidance, in the name and for the sake of Jesus Christ.
