Description

Progressive Directions, Inc. (PDI) serves Montgomery and Stewart counties, acting in the public interest by providing quality mental retardation services to this catchment area. The agency was chartered by the State of Tennessee as a private not-for-profit organization in 1976. All Progressive Directions, Inc. operations are licensed by the state of Tennessee.

The agency is funded by the TN Division of Mental Retardation Services, TN Early Intervention System, United Way, Local Governments, Corporate and Private Contributions and governed by a volunteer board of directors.

PDI currently serves over 900 individuals annually and employees more than 280 staff. Programs include: Personal Assistance, Family Support, Early Intervention, Day Habilitation, Residential, Supported Employment and Respite Services. PDI maintains adult day centers in Clarksville, TN and Dover, TN as well as a fully integrated day-care in Clarksville, TN.
