Description
During Her lifetime, Princess Grace of Monaco was deeply committed to helping emerging artists realize their career goals.
National in scope, the Princess Grace Foundation-USA is dedicated to identifying and assisting emerging talent in theater, dance, and film by awarding grants in the form of scholarships, apprenticeships, and fellowships.
Each year, the Foundation announces Princess Grace Awards for distinction in theater, dance, and film. Students are eligible for scholarships; emerging artists working in companies qualify for apprenticeships and fellowships. A playwriting fellowship is available for individual artists through a residency at New Dramatists in New York City. Since 1984, the Foundation has supported more than 500 artists over 100 institutions nationwide.
Incorporated in 1982, the Princess Grace Foundation-USA is a tax-exempt, non-profit, publicly supported organization. Contributions are welcome and are tax deductible by law.
