Description
PRIDE-Omaha, Inc. is a non-profit 501(c)(3) drug prevention organization founded in 1978. We are dedicated to preventing the use of alcohol, tobacco, and other drugs by youth.
Our organization promotes a clear, consistent, no-use message when it comes to drug use by young people. We are a nationally-recognized organization working to change the cultural influences that encourage chidren to use drugs.
Drug prevention is so important because studies have found that a child who reaches age 21 without smoking, abusing alcohol, or using drugs is virtually certain never to do so.
The work we do is all about keeping children safe and drug free so they can reach their full potential.
