Description
Pride In Action Community Services is a Jacksonville based 501 (c) (3) social services entity engaging the problems and issues of disadvantaged adults and their families. PIA works to develop educational programs, recreational activities and services designed to promote physical, social and economic well being.
Prevention, intervention and treatment services to individuals and families are also provided through community resource links. Families receive counseling, education, case management, home management to help reduce conditions of impoverishment or dependency.
Neighborhood Associations are established to foster community pride and enhance civic responsibility. We promote integration with professionals as resources to awaken motivation and stimulate positive involvement in low to moderate income housing communities.
